Sometimes in female bodybuilding you have to admire the sheer muscularity of a competitor, sometimes it's her crazy conditioning, and sometimes it's just the jaw-dropping beauty of a female physique taken to the limit.

But, while Physique Athlete Tia Douglass has all of the above attributes by the truckload, what really separates this this stunning 36-year-old from the pack, is her sheer, blood and guts, determination to be the very best female bodybuilder she can be.

Just look at Tia's transformation timeline above – this girl eats 'impossible' for breakfast!

On Saturday November 9 Tia takes the stage for her third contest, the Jay Cutler Baltimore Classic at the France-Merrick Performing Arts Center(Hippodrome Theatre).

We think Tia's blend of beauty, poise and out and out muscle might very well catch the eye of the judges!

Amazingly Tia only started training to compete in June 2012, but by April this year she had won the USBF 2013 Overall, Open Masters and best poser.

And that takes insane focus – something Tia is not short of.

She told realfemalebodybuilding.com: “ You can’t get the results you want without the proper nutrition and sacrifice which means A LOT of time in the gym and not going out partying and drinking like back in the day!

“But I absolutely love bodybuilding and the transformation, and I am 100% willing to put the hard work in and see how much I can achieve.”

Despite being a relative newcomer to female muscle competitions Tia has managed to build a stunning physique blending serious muscle with super-dry conditioning and cover girl looks.

And she has managed to do this while holding down a full-time job as research analyst AND studying for a master' degree.

Tia says her dreams are to win her Pro Card and become a professional model.

Knowing just how determined this lady is it would be a rash person who would bet against her achieving both!

Good luck Tia!
