But it's taken a hell of a lot of blood, guts and steel (and maybe a few tears) to get to where she is today.
Coco, who started out as a wrestler, muscled-up to hit the bodybuilding stage and is currently prepping for the 2013 Ontario Provincial Championships.
She battled with health problems, divorce, family issues along the way but managed to keep her eyes on the prize.
Her daugher helped keep her going and indeed one of her most cherished bodybuilding memories is flexing those 14.5 inch biceps on stage and hearing a voice shout “you're hot mom!” from the audience.
Right now personal trainer Coco is all about adding more mass before leaning down for the big day.
And we at realfemalebodybuilding.com with her every success in her female bodybuilding future!

What contest are you prepping for now? Ontario provincials in bodybuilding as well as Canadian Nationals in physique and maybe bodybuilding.
How's it going/where are you at!? I think I'm behind!!! I always think I'm behind!!
How many years have you trained? I've been training about 10 years. I was a soccer player and runner before a lifter but I have been lifting for competitive sport since 2005
Why bodybuilding? When i was a kid i used to read Muscle and Fitness.. Cory Everson was my hero.. I wanted a body like that.. now, I have one!!
How and why did you start ? I started lifting way back in the 80's. I was a wrestler, and trained for the ring.. then i took a bunch of years off, and got back into it after my coach thought adding some muscle would improve my run time. It did, but as it turned out I preferred lifting to running so I started training for fitness. I really wanted to do bodybuilding right there and then but was I was too small..
What is your dream? I have many. I dream a different dream often.. currently, I want to keep competing and see how far I can push myself. My career dream, well I guess that I'm living it .. in the first stage, helping people become fit!
What is your short term goal right now? Keep on diet, drop the fat natty and, in 8 weeks, to win the Provincials
Have you competed or do you plan to ? (and results!): Yes I have.. I have competed in fitness, bodybuilding and physique and one hopefully forgotten figures show. I have some firsts and seconds, and the BEST I ever did was a 4th place finish in physique. It was not my highest placing, or the best physique I ever brought to stage, but it was a personal victory. I had gone through the hell the previous two years, health crisis, divorce, family drama, loss of job, and moved across the country alone, broke and sick. getting on stage was my step into independence Health and my Future. that fourth is the smallest "trophy" I have, and my greatest victory!
What keeps you motivated? Me.. my desire to be the best me I can be. But also my clients, watching them push themselves inspires me to push myself harder..
What do you love most about bodybuilding? I don't know if its the daily goals I have to achieve, or the long term goals. I don't know if it's the looking back and comparing, or the looking to the future and planning. I do know that I love it all. I love the daily routine, I love trying new things, seeing results and discovering what works best for me.
And what do you hate the most? The drugs, the lying and the backstabbing
What is the biggest thrill or moment you have got from bodybuilding? Bench pressing 205lbs was cool! Having my daughter shout out "your hot mom".. was cool.. being recognized on the street as a competitor is cool.. I love it all!
How often do you train? Usually 5 days a week.. sometimes 6
What is your program/split? Chest / arms / back / shoulders / legs sometimes two leg days.
What really works for you? I'd say reps-per-bodypart under 50, 3 to 4 movements, then move on.
Favorite bodypart to train and why? I change my mind on this a lot. I usually really like chest, but lately I'm on a shoulder thing. I think it's wherever I'm feeling strongest and seeing the biggest changes
Biggest improvement in last 12 months? Overall mass and proportions.. Oh and health!
Improvements you are targeting ? More mass.. bringing in conditioning and growing my quads.
What tips would you give to newbies? KEEP AT IT! It doesn't happen overnight, but every morning when you decide to put in your all.. one more day!!
Any training secrets or amazing exercises which have worked for you? Squats and 21's.. that's all I'm saying!
Kids: One daughter.. she is 20... and one granddaughter she is one year old.
