If, as Michelle Russell claims, women with muscle are much more sexy then mega-muscular Michelle is the Marilyn Monroe of Female Bodybuilding!

Weighing in at an off-season 190lbs 33-year-old Michelle is packed with high quality female muscle from head to foot – a fact that was not lost on the judges at the recent 2013 Nova Scotia Provincial Bodybuilding Competition where this fabulous female bodybuilder took both first place and best poser.

But it was Michelle's 17 inch, super-peaked, monster biceps which really had the crowd on their feet in Halifax.

Because when Michelle Russell hits a double biceps pose it's game over – ALL eyes are on her insanely muscular arms!

But, as all bodybuilders know, quality muscle doesn't happen overnight, and Michelle has been pumping iron for almost 20 years, ever since she picked up her first barbell at the age of 14.

Initially this was as part of he training for rowing, as Michelle was hugely successful international oarswoman with more than 70 medals to her name.

But after she retired from rowing she determined to muscle-up and get serious about female bodybuilding – entering her first show in 2007, the Sandra Whickham Fall Classic where she placed a creditable third and again won best poser.

Michelle told realfemalebodybuilding.com: “I had always found that women with muscle were much more sexy and always found it fascinating.

“I ran into Athena Siganakis [a fellow Canadian female bodybuilder] in British Columbia. She had helped me prep for my first show. She was as such a huge help and very supportive.”

The astonishing results were duly rewarded at Michelle's 'comeback contest' at the 2013 Nova Scotia Provincials and we confidently predict much much more for Michelle in 2014.
